Support for orphanage

After serious consideration we have now decided to officially support a local orphanage here in Cancun.

The name of the orphanage is "La Esperanza" which means "Hope".
This orphanage is 100% privately funded, does not receive any help from the local or federal government and it is not even exempt from tax.

The couple who runs the orphanage has dedicated their lives and resources to help abandoned and abused children.

International Patient Facilitators will now get involved in helping these children to have a chance for a better future.

We received already support from some of our patients who came here for lap band surgery in Cancun and prostate cancer treatment in Mexico.

We are also planning on expanding our website http://international-patient-facilitators.com to keep the public informed about our commitment and progress.

Cosmetic surgery in Mexico.

It is a very happy day to announce that International Patient Facilitators has now teamed up with some of the best plastic surgeons in Mexico.

Our newest members, the esteemed Dr. Alicia Benavides and Dr. Javier Garcia are both board certified and members of ISAPS.

ISAPS is the International Society of Aesthetics Plastic Surgery and the world most influential association. Not every surgeon is allowed to join, a surgeon has to "earn" the membership.

For that reason we are very pleased that we can call these outstanding plastic surgeons in Mexico our newest team members.

Dr. Benavides will take care of our patients for cosmetic surgery in Cancun and Dr. Garcia will head our devision for plastic surgery in Tijuana.

All in all it was well worth the trip and our main focus was on finding even more convenient ways for our international patients to come to Mexico for their medical procedures.
Our first step will be the re-design of our existing website http://international-patient-facilitators.com with more features for you to find the information you need.

We also used the opportunity and went down to Tijuana for a day to visit our bariatric team with Dr. Verboonen and Lana our patient facilitator.

For those who don't know, Dr. Verboonen is "the authority" in baratric surgery and we call him teasingly our Rock and Roll Star.
He has performed over 4,000 lap band surgeries in Mexico, 650 gastric sleeve surgeries, 850 Full gastric bypass surgeries and over 800 mini gastric bypass surgeries.
He frequently speaks at medical congresses about bariatric surgeries in Mexico.

We are finally getting started with the Medical conference in Los Angeles.
